Pre-CanSkate

Our 3-4 year olds program gets your little skater learning the basics of skating in a fun and interactive environment.

CanSkate

Provides skaters with a strong foundation for  hockey, speed skating, ringette and figure skating.
 
Conducted in a fun, friendly environment, the CanSkate program showcases a comprehensive series of balance, control and agility skills, using a nationally-tested and proven curriculum that supports skater success in developing stronger basic skills on the ice.
 
Ages 5+

Pre-StarSkate

Pre-StarSkate (PreStar) is a designed to help skaters make the transition from CanSkate to StarSkate. The program is designed to teach the elements of figure skating in a group lesson format. It offers opportunities for skaters to develop figure skating skills while still passing their CanSkate  and StarSkate levels. 

To participate skaters must be invited by a coach or board member.

StarSkate

StarSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format.

This program is for skaters who have finished the CanSkate program

Power Skating

Get a step up on the competition with PowerSkate, a high-energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette players.

This program focuses on balance, control and agility skills including components of power and speed. Skating skills, techniques and performance drills are taught in a progressive format by Skate Canada coaches certified through the NCCP to enhance the skating ability required in game situations.

Junior Synchro

Synchro is a specialized discipline of skating involving groups of eight (six for Star 2, 3 & 4) or more skaters performing various group formations and maneuvers. 

The objective is for the team to perform as one unit executing circles, blocks, lines, wheels and intersections in unison to the music, while demonstrating quality edges, power and flow.

Adult Synchro

Skate Canada’s SynchroSkate program offers adult skaters the opportunity to participate in the discipline as well. With three adult categories, skaters of all skill levels and experience may join a team and compete at various club, interclub, invitational and regional competitions.
